 Automatic initialization after other use of the modem
-------------------------------------------------------

To allow FaxCon to store incoming faxes, the modem must
be initialized correctly. This is done automatically when activating
the fax receive mode.

After other use of the modem (standby switch in position
'standby', e.g. for mailbox, internet...) the modem must be
initialized again for fax reception.

This can be achieved manually by terminated an reactivating the receive
mode, after the standby switch is again in operating position.

Alternatively this can also be done automatically:

Therefor, the junction R14/R15/U1.14 has to be connected with GND by
an unused contact of the standby switch. The switch must be closed
in position 'standby', which means the junction is connected to GND.
In operating position the switch must be open.

A suitable connection point on the board is the resistor R14.

With this supplement, the modem is initialized automatically whenever the
standby switch is switched from 'standby' to 'operating' (approx. 5 seconds
after) in receive mode.
